Christmas at Home

Background story: My sister Angela passed away
on 12/17/2006. It was a very difficult Christmas
that year so we all spent the night at my house so
we could all wake up together Christmas morning.
We have continued this tradition every year since
2006.
We leave Josh's grandmother's house around 9
and my family is already at my house waiting for
us. We usually sit around and talk or watch the
previous year's Christmas on DVD. We get all the
blankets out and both air mattresses. People sleep
in almost every room of the house. We get an early
morning visit from Santa. My nephew Cole, 3, gets
so excited to see Santa and has to tell him why the
other kids do not deserve presents. After Santa leaves,
we start cooking breakfast. After breakfast, we open
presents and take family pictures. Of course, since no
one took a bath or put on makeup, we all look horrible
in the pictures. Again, Mason got so many presents
including a vacuum cleaner, wagon of blocks, set of tools,
clothes...etc. After everyone leaves in the morning, we let
Mason open his presents from us.
